Goon-tested, raid-approved.

This is the kind of tape you don’t ask questions about—you just keep it in your kit and trust it. Whether you're wrapping your rifle grip, taping down loose gear, patching holes in your truck seat, or blacking out reflective surfaces, Goon Tape does what it needs to do and disappears when it’s done.

It’s matte black, non-reflective, easy to tear, and sticks like it wants a raise. You can tear it with gloves, wrap it around hot handguards, or even use it to seal off a rattling mag pouch.

Not too sticky where it leaves a mess, but sticky enough to ride through the Arizona heat without giving up. Think of it as black electrical tape’s mean older brother.

GoonTape – Grip That Stays Put

Slippery gear is cute until it isn't. GoonTape adds tacky, matte grip where you actually touch stuff. No shine, easy to tear by hand, and sticks like it should. Wrap it, run it, and swap it when it's beat.
What is GoonTape?
A tough, cloth backed grip tape with a low sheen finish and strong adhesive. Adds control without chewing up your hands.
Where can I use it?
Grips, stocks, handguards, mags, tools, flashlights, tripods, or anything that needs more traction. You can also use it to bundle gear, hold stuff together, or stop something from sliding around.
Will it leave residue?
The adhesive is strong but not ridiculous. Most surfaces clean up with a little citrus cleaner or alcohol. If it's baked in the sun for months, expect a bit more work. Peel back on itself slowly and clean up after.
How do I wrap it so it lasts?
Start on a clean, dry surface. Overlap each pass by about 30–50%, keep a light even stretch, and finish on the underside or with a small tuck. Press the seams down tight so they don't lift.
Is it good with sweat, rain, or gloves?
Yes. The cloth texture and matte finish keep grip when your hands are sweaty or gloved. If it gets soaked, towel it off and keep going.
Can I use it on hot parts?
It's grip tape, not a heat shield. Don't wrap cans, gas blocks, or anything that gets glowing hot. For hot suppressors, that's what the HotBox pouch is for.
How do I remove and refresh it?
Peel it back slowly at a low angle. If adhesive remains, use citrus cleaner or alcohol. Then re-wrap with fresh tape so your gear is ready again.

No. Cameras, tripods, tools, knives, radios, gym gear, or anything you want a better grip on. If you can wrap it, you can GoonTape it.
